Fallen branches and overgrowth are blocking Tiffany's path; a few hours of help would make a big difference.

I'm 84 and I have lived in this house in Fayetteville for 39 years. After the storm in January, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of my hip replacement. The council has told me it will be ten weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner. Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do. Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

  • You're not alone, Tiffany. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.

    • stay strong, Tiffany. Hope this works out for you. My mother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Love from Los Angeles.

      • Stay strong, Tiffany. I hope things turn around soon.
