School supplies and a laptop for Michelle in Laredo
Michelle won a place at Laredo Science Academy but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.
🇺🇸 United States1,348 views
Michelle earned a place in Grade 9 at Laredo Science Academy, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things She needs, including a laptop for the graphic design course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $900, which is more than they have.
Michelle loves graphic design and wants to become a doctor. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
She will take care of everything given and works very hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $900 goes:
• Laptop: $470
• Textbooks and workbooks: $350
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $80
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Updates from Jameson
Good news. Because of your gifts ($244 in total) the plan for calculator, stationery and a school bag is now scheduled. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
Update from Laredo: I made the first payment toward calculator, stationery and a school bag. We're at 25% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.
