Weekly meals for families and seniors in Envigado
Jorge runs a volunteer pantry feeding 295 families; this fund restocks shelves for the harvest gap.

Since 2019, our volunteer team has run Community Pantry every Tuesday from the back of a borrowed garage. We started with 10 families, and now we feed 295 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 31% this harvest gap, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 16 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Envigado market and keep every receipt.
Each $10 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $850 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $350
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $270
• Baby formula and diapers: $150
• Refrigeration and electricity: $80
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
