Weekly meals for families and seniors in Dnipro
The the Sunday Shelf pantry in Dnipro is running low just as demand rises; $500 will stock it for 10 weeks.

Since 2019, our volunteer team has run the Sunday Shelf every Wednesday from the back of a school canteen. We started with 10 families, and now we feed 379 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 60% this school holidays, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 6 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Dnipro market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $500 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $230
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $125
• Baby formula and diapers: $105
• Refrigeration and electricity: $40
Thank you for reading my story.

Praying for you. Your post was clear and honest. My neighbor in Nagpur donated after I showed her your page. Thinking of Dnipro.
a colleague of mine might know someone for this in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. I'll ask around and let you know.
wishing you the best. I hope things turn around soon. Wish I lived closer to East London so I could bring a meal.
Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. After 7 years in logistics I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Thinking of Dnipro
Take care, Yaroslav. Shared this with my family. My husband and I read this together. God bless.
