Website help for a food pantry: Friends of Liberty Park

Friends of Liberty Park runs on volunteers and has no website; a designer or developer could help us reach more people.

Friends of Liberty Park is a small food pantry in San Diego that serves about 205 people each year. We've been running on word of mouth and social media, and we need a simple website with information, volunteer sign-up and a donate button. We have the content, logo and photos ready. We need someone who can design and build it, and show our volunteer how to update it. We'd estimate 15-25 hours of work. Ideally it should be fast on mobile, accessible, and use inexpensive hosting. We have a domain already. Please reply with a link to similar work. We can't pay, but we can offer a reference, a public thank-you, and a lot of thanks. You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

              • Sending strength, Violet. Your post was clear and honest. After 25 years in logistics I know how hard it's to ask for anything.

                • Stay strong. Shared it with a few friends. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. All the best.

                  • Best of luck. Shared it with a few friends. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Thinking of San Diego
