I coordinate donations at the Pioneer Community Church in Abuja. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes toddler through teen. If you're in Abuja, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Pioneer Community Church on Sunday between 10am and 4pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Pioneer Community Church clothing bank, which is open to everyone. If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

  • Wishing you the best, Jumoke. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I went through something like this 10 years ago and strangers helped me out. Blessings.

    • Gave what I could, wish it was more. Put this on a community board in Cebu City this morning. Greetings from Cebu City.

      • Thinking of you. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Put this on a community board in Tema this morning. Thinking of Abuja
