Warm clothes needed: the Lotus Mosque families in Los Angeles
A simple way to help: donate warm clothing for kids at the Lotus Mosque.

I coordinate donations at the Lotus Mosque in Los Angeles. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes kids' 3 to 5 and women's S-L. If you're in Los Angeles, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Lotus Mosque on Wednesday between 10am and 3pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Lotus Mosque clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Glad we found this place.

praying for you, Declan. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together.
Hang in there. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too!
Hope things get better soon, Declan. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We're a small family in Rajkot but we're thinking of you. Thinking of Los Angeles
rooting for you, Declan. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Blessings.
sending love, Declan. This could happen to any of us. Don't be hard on yourself for asking
