Luis drives for a living in Cologne, and a broken rear axle has stopped all income for 6 weeks.

I make my living with my delivery van. 6 weeks ago the rear axle failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,000. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my two daughters and my mother. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update. Where the $1,000 goes: • Labor charges: $310 • rear axle replacement (parts): $550 • Towing and inspection: $140 If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people. - Luis
