I coordinate donations at the Liberty Community Church in Gaziantep. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 4-12. If you're in Gaziantep, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Liberty Community Church on Wednesday between 10am and 4pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Liberty Community Church clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Sending good thoughts. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Thinking of Gaziantep.
Hope things get better soon, Aylin. Hope you get there. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry
Hope things get better soon. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. I hope August is when things finally get easier.
Hope it all works out, Aylin. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Love from Campinas.
