A simple way to help: donate warm clothing for kids at Baobab Women's Shelter.

I coordinate donations at Baobab Women's Shelter in Cairo. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes kids' 3 to 5 and women's S-L. If you're in Cairo, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Baobab Women's Shelter on Monday between 10am and 3pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the Baobab Women's Shelter clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Hope it all works out. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. All the best.
Sending love, Mazen. I hope things turn around soon. After 30 years in accounting I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Thinking of Cairo.
Praying for you, Mazen. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together.
Thinking of you, Mazen. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.
Thinking of you and your family, Mazen. Your post was clear and honest. Thinking of Cairo.
So sorry you're going through this. Looking forward to the next update. Greetings from Surakarta.
