Warm clothes needed: Acacia Women's Shelter families in Rawalpindi
A simple way to help: donate warm clothing for kids at Acacia Women's Shelter.

I coordinate donations at Acacia Women's Shelter in Rawalpindi. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes toddler through teen. If you're in Rawalpindi, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Acacia Women's Shelter on Sunday between 11am and 4pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the Acacia Women's Shelter clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Thinking of you and your family. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Greetings from Sakai.
I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. I hope June is when things finally get easier. God bless.
You're not alone. Shared it with a few friends. After 24 years in teaching I know how hard it's to ask for anything
Wishing you peace, Muhammad. Your post was clear and honest. Take care
So sorry you're going through this, Muhammad. Shared it with a few friends. Put this on a community board in Barranquilla this morning. Take care.
