Volunteers needed to fix a leaking roof for Yasir in Faisalabad
The roof at Yasir's home is failing; materials are donated and we need hands.

I'm a disabled veteran living in Faisalabad. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 4 places, and the living room is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $500, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the shingles and underlay. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for a small crew who can help over two Saturdays.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is sturdy shoes, gloves and a willingness to work. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Stay strong, Yasir. This could happen to any of us. I hope October is when things finally get easier.
So sorry you're going through this, Yasir. I hope things turn around soon. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Greetings from Coyoacán!
Hang in there. Shared it with a few friends. Thinking of Faisalabad.
Praying for you, Yasir. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. My father had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Love from Minneapolis.
A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. Greetings from Kakamega.
Praying for you, Yasir. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My neighbor in Austin donated after I showed her your page. All the best
