Volunteers needed to fix a leaking roof for Pavel in Kharkiv
The roof at Pavel's home is failing; materials are donated and we need hands.

I'm a widowed grandmother living in Kharkiv. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 2 places, and the kids' bedroom is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $440, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the tiles and battens. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for anyone handy who can help over one long weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is to be comfortable with heights or willing to help from the ground. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Wishing you peace. Shared it with a few friends. Greetings from Berlin.
Thinking of you and your family. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Blessings!
