Volunteers needed to fix a leaking roof for Oluwaseun in Lagos
The roof at Oluwaseun's home is failing; materials are donated and we need hands.

I'm a widowed grandmother living in Lagos. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 2 places, and the kids' bedroom is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $330, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the roofing sheets and nails. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for 4-6 people who can help over one long weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is work boots and a hat. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
I hope life is good to you.

Hope it all works out. This could happen to any of us. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Greetings from Lahore.
Best of luck. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Wish I lived closer to New Delhi so I could bring a meal. God bless.
Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Greetings from Badagry.
