Volunteers needed to fix a leaking roof for Neil in Caloocan
Could you spare one long weekend to help repair a leaking roof in Caloocan?
🇵🇭 Caloocan, Metro Manila, Philippines1,542 views
I'm a disabled veteran living in Caloocan. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 2 places, and the living room is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $520, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the tiles and battens. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for three or four volunteers who can help over one long weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is to be comfortable with heights or willing to help from the ground. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

So sorry you're going through this, Neil. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. After 13 years in public service I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
Sending love, Neil. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Thinking of Caloocan.
