When my hours were cut in half in February, I fell 4 months behind on rent. Last Sunday a final eviction notice was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $3,900. My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by June, we must leave. I've 1 children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else. I have started working night deliveries, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here. The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done. Where the $3,900 goes: • Rent arrears (4 months): $2,700 • Late fees and court costs: $155 • Utilities in arrears: $195 • First month of rent as a buffer: $850 If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people. - Noah

Updates from Noah

  1. Update from Södertälje: we've booked the dates and paid the deposit. We're at 2% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.

  2. Good news. Because of your gifts ($37 in total) we've started the first stage. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.

  3. Good news. Because of your gifts ($10 in total) I made the first payment toward first month of rent as a buffer. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
