Volunteers needed to fix a leaking roof for Moumita in Dhaka
Moumita, a home-care aide, needs a few skilled and unskilled helpers for a 2-weekend roof repair in Dhaka.

I'm a home-care aide living in Dhaka. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 2 places, and the bathroom is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $450, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the shingles and underlay. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for 4-6 people who can help over one long weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is work boots and a hat. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Praying for you, Moumita. Shared it with a few friends. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Thinking of Dhaka!
