Build a wheelchair ramp for Sung-min in Mapo

Help Sung-min regain independence: a simple ramp build.

Mapo
Sung-min has used a wheelchair since 2023, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Sung-min can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair. The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two. The ramp has to meet the local accessibility standard of 1:12 slope, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate ten hours of work. Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Sung-min's family will cook lunch for the team. Thanks for being kind about this.
