Volunteers needed to fix a leaking roof for Maureen in Kilkenny
Maureen, a school janitor, needs a few skilled and unskilled helpers for a 2-weekend roof repair in Kilkenny.

I'm a school janitor living in Kilkenny. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 3 places, and the living room is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $3,800, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the shingles and underlay. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for three or four volunteers who can help over one long weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is to be comfortable with heights or willing to help from the ground. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

It takes guts to ask. Well done. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Love from Jakarta Selatan.
Wishing you the best. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My neighbor in Mumbai donated after I showed her your page. Take care.
Shared this with my family. We're a small family in Pasig but we're thinking of you. Thinking of Kilkenny
gave what I could, wish it was more. I'll check back for the next update. Love from Cleveland.
