Volunteers needed to fix a leaking roof for Farah in Lahore
Could you spare one long weekend to help repair a leaking roof in Lahore?
🇵🇰 Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan567 views
I'm a night-shift nurse living in Lahore. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 2 places, and the kids' bedroom is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $470, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the tiles and battens. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for a small crew who can help over one long weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is sturdy shoes, gloves and a willingness to work. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Thank you so much.

Good luck, Farah. Looking forward to the next update. God bless.
I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Don't give up. Blessings.
you're not alone, Farah. Hope this works out for you. We're a small family in Rochester but we're thinking of you. Love from Rochester.
I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. Thinking of Lahore.
