Viviane's early-stage lung cancer treatment fund
Viviane is facing early-stage lung cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Viviane was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in April. The oncology team at Duque de Caxias Cancer Centre has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in June. She will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Viviane is 29, worked as a bakery worker until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Duque de Caxias Cancer Centre 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $3,550 goes:
• Household costs while unable to work: $550
• Transport to Duque de Caxias Cancer Centre: $210
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $2,600
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $190
