After six years of service, Sunil is raising funds for a vocational welding course and tools.

I served six years in the marines and was discharged in 2024 with a traumatic brain injury. I have been waiting nine months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a vocational welding course and tools. The quote I have comes to $950.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly.
Where the $950 goes:
• Training provider fees: $490
• Housing deposit and first month: $270
• Transport to appointments: $85
• Essential household items: $105
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Sending love, Sunil. I hope things turn around soon. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Love from Hyderabad.
