Veteran in need: Senthil's next mission is stability
An army veteran in Thane needs help with a vocational welding course and tools after leaving service with a back injury.

Nithya served six years in the army and was discharged in 2024 with a back injury. She has been waiting eleven months for support, and meanwhile is sleeping at a brother's place.
The plan: a vocational welding course and tools. The quote comes to $500.
Nithya is receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and is committed to recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'll post invoices, with personal details hidden.
Where the $500 goes:
• Transport to appointments: $85
• Essential household items: $90
• Housing deposit and first month: $325
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Hang in there. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My mother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Greetings from San Antonio.
Sending love. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Thinking of Thane.
