Veteran in need: Lamia's next mission is stability
Lamia served four years in the navy; $550 would cover a deposit on a one-bedroom apartment.

I served four years in the navy and was discharged in 2023 with a traumatic brain injury. I have been waiting eleven months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a deposit on a one-bedroom apartment. The quote I have comes to $550.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
I'll post invoices, with personal details hidden.
Where the $550 goes:
• Training provider fees: $210
• Housing deposit and first month: $170
• Transport to appointments: $90
• Essential household items: $80
Thanks for being kind about this.

Best of luck. Looking forward to the next update. Love from Londrina.
sending love. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I went through something like this 10 years ago and strangers helped me out. Greetings from Flint.
