Veronika needs a stair-climbing aid - help us make it happen
Veronika needs a stair-climbing aid that the health system won't fund; the cost is $1,200.

I live with profound hearing loss. My occupational therapist at Kharkiv General Hospital has assessed me and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,200.
My current equipment is 11 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 6 weeks.
With the right equipment I could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $1,200 goes:
• First-year servicing plan: $70
• stair-climbing aid: $1,100
• Delivery and set-up: $30
Thanks for reading all this.
