Union Park needs a youth football pitch - Dorota's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a youth football pitch - we need $1,500 for materials.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 12 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Union Park, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $1,500.
It will serve about 549 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in February and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $1,500 goes:
• Materials: $1,150
• Permits and inspections: $60
• Safety equipment and signage: $195
• Tools hire and delivery: $95
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
