Two weekends of roof repair for Victor, a school janitor in Manila
Victor, a school janitor, needs a few skilled and unskilled helpers for a 1-weekend roof repair in Manila.

I'm a school janitor living in Manila. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 3 places, and the living room is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $850, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the roofing sheets and nails. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for 4-6 people who can help over one long weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is to be comfortable with heights or willing to help from the ground. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

- one long weekend

Hang in there, Victor. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Thinking of Manila
Hope it all works out, Victor. Shared this with my family.
