An adapted tricycle would give Dineo independence - we're $1,100 away.

Dineo lives with an amputation below the knee. The occupational therapist at the Johannesburg Mobility Clinic has assessed her and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,100.
Her current equipment is 13 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 6 weeks.
With the right equipment Dineo could join the school sports day. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $1,100 goes:
• adapted tricycle: $920
• Fitting and training sessions: $45
• Delivery and set-up: $40
• First-year servicing plan: $95
