Pepper is my German shepherd of six years. On 8 February we rushed to the Arusha Emergency Vet Clinic with severe tick fever. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $250. They have stabilized Pepper, but the treatment can't wait beyond March. Pepper is more than a pet - Pepper is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $25 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. Funds will be paid straight to the Arusha Emergency Vet Clinic and I'll share the invoice and an update on Pepper's recovery. Where the $250 goes: • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $45 • Emergency surgery: $85 • Hospitalization (3 nights): $120 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Updates from Kipchoge

Update from Arusha: I made the first payment toward hospitalization. We're at 52% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.
Thank you all. We're at 42% now ($104). I'm honestly stunned. I met with the vet clinic and confirmed the amounts.
Quick update: $45 raised so far (18%). I made the first payment toward diagnostics. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
