Two weekends of roof repair for Usman, a home-care aide in Asaba
Usman, a home-care aide, needs a few skilled and unskilled helpers for a 1-weekend roof repair in Asaba.

I'm a home-care aide living in Asaba. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 2 places, and the bathroom is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $570, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the corrugated iron sheets and timber. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for 4-6 people who can help over two Saturdays.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is sturdy shoes, gloves and a willingness to work. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Thank you for reading my story.

Best of luck, Usman. Hope you get there. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. God bless.
Thinking of you. Shared this with my family. I hope September is when things finally get easier. Love from Geelong.
Praying for you. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. I went through something like this 13 years ago and strangers helped me out
Praying for you, Usman. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I went through something like this 3 years ago and strangers helped me out. Blessings.
Praying for you, Usman. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together.

reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I'm in farming myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you.
