Care for Kaylee, 95: help cover a carer and medication in San Antonio
Kaylee, 95, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $3,250 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my mother, who's 95. After a stroke last August Kaylee can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Kaylee desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 30 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Kaylee worked all of her life as a nurse, and raised 5 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for four months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $3,250 goes:
• Part-time carer (four months): $2,450
• Medication and prescriptions: $510
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $290
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
