Two weekends of roof repair for Krishnan, a night-shift nurse in Pune
Could you spare a weekend to help repair a leaking roof in Pune?

I'm a night-shift nurse living in Pune. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 2 places, and the living room is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $860, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the tiles and battens. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for anyone handy who can help over a weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is sturdy shoes, gloves and a willingness to work. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Thanks for sharing this, Krishnan. Shared this with my family. Don't be hard on yourself for asking.
Thinking of you. Gave what I could, wish it was more. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Thinking of Pune.
