Two weekends of roof repair for Kevin, a disabled veteran in Quezon City
The roof at Kevin's home is failing; materials are donated and we need hands.

I'm a disabled veteran living in Quezon City. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 3 places, and the kitchen is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $610, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the corrugated iron sheets and timber. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for a small crew who can help over two Saturdays.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is sturdy shoes, gloves and a willingness to work. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Keep going, Kevin. Hope you get there. I hope November is when things finally get easier
Hope you get there. My neighbor in Taguig donated after I showed her your page. Thinking of Quezon City.
Hang in there, Kevin. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Sent it to 7 people at work. All the best.
So sorry you're going through this, Kevin. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. All the best.
Keep going, Kevin. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps.
Thanks for sharing this. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Thinking of Quezon City.
