Two weekends of roof repair for Kendall, a school janitor in Liverpool
Could you spare one long weekend to help repair a leaking roof in Liverpool?

I'm a school janitor living in Liverpool. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 3 places, and the living room is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $4,000, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the shingles and underlay. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for a small crew who can help over one long weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is work boots and a hat. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Glad we found this place.

Wishing you the best, Kendall. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. After 23 years in accounting I know how hard it's to ask for anything. God bless
