Two weekends of roof repair for Elena, a home-care aide in San Diego
Could you spare one long weekend to help repair a leaking roof in San Diego?

I'm a home-care aide living in San Diego. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 3 places, and the living room is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $6,250, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the shingles and underlay. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for 4-6 people who can help over one long weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is work boots and a hat. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Thank you so much.

Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Sent it to 35 people at work. Greetings from Likoni
