A ride from Ikeja to a neighboring city for Chiamaka's new job

Chiamaka has a job waiting in a neighboring city but can't afford the move; a lift, shared van or spare seat would solve it.

Ikeja
I have been offered a job in a neighboring city, starting on Friday in December. I can't afford the bus and the 8 boxes I need to carry with me, and moving costs are beyond my means. If you or someone you know is driving between Ikeja and a neighboring city, I'd love to share the journey, and I can cover fuel. If you have a van and a free day, even better. I'm a good conversationalist but happy to be quiet. I have a reference from my last employer and from the person I'll be renting from in a neighboring city. Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Thinking of you, Chiamaka. Small businesses are the heart of Ikeja. Hope you're open again soon. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend.

        • Hope the shop reopens soon. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Love from Mumbai.

          • Hope you make a strong comeback. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Love from Jakarta.

            • Stay strong, Chiamaka. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier
