Two weekends of roof repair for Adrian, a retired bus driver in San Diego
Could you spare one long weekend to help repair a leaking roof in San Diego?

I'm a retired bus driver living in San Diego. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 3 places, and the bathroom is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $3,450, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the roofing sheets and nails. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for a small crew who can help over one long weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is work boots and a hat. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

sending good thoughts. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My neighbor had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Blessings.
This could happen to any of us. Greetings from Galle.
You're not alone, Adrian. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My cousin had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. God bless.
