Ekow has been on dialysis for 1 years and until recently drove to the Madina Dialysis Unit alone. After surgery on their hand, Ekow can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week. We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 33 km each way. Ekow is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food. Please say which day works for you in the comments. If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

  • Get well soon. After 23 years in hospitality I know how hard it's to ask for anything

    • Good luck. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double!
