Tuition fund for Subramanian: a diploma in hospitality management at the Mumbai Institute of Technology

Subramanian is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a diploma in hospitality management at the Mumbai Institute of Technology, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a barista to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $800. The registrar has said Subramanian can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Subramanian has a distinction average, and an academic advisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Subramanian would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Subramanian isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees. Where the $800 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $490 • Final term tuition: $240 • Exam and lab fees: $40 • Textbooks and materials: $30 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
