Cologne
Sebastian was diagnosed with prostate cancer in July. The oncology team at Cologne University Hospital has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in September. He will be away from work for about 5 weeks. Sebastian is 43, worked as a shop owner until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Cologne University Hospital 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $8,100 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $7,000 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $330 • Transport to Cologne University Hospital: $770 Every share and every dollar helps. - Birgit

        • Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Sebastian.

Chemotherapy and medication not covered is $7,000 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Thanks for asking.

          • Is there anything that isn't money that would help Sebastian?
