Tuition fund for Ravi: a degree in civil engineering at Kanpur Polytechnic

Ravi is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a degree in civil engineering at Kanpur Polytechnic, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a warehouse packer to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $550. The registrar has said Ravi can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Ravi has a top-ten-percent average, and a professor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Ravi would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Ravi isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees. Where the $550 goes: • Textbooks and materials: $55 • Final term tuition: $440 • Exam and lab fees: $55 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
