I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying an agriculture degree at Santa Fe State College, and I'm one semester away from graduating. I have worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $1,350.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a distinction average, and my faculty supervisor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Santa Fe State College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $1,350 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $640
• Final term tuition: $570
• Exam and lab fees: $60
• Textbooks and materials: $80
With deep gratitude,
Pablo

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Pablo.
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. outstanding tuition balance comes first ($640) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Let me know if you want more detail.
Thinking of you and your family. Looking forward to the next update. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Blessings.
Hope it all works out, Pablo. I hope things turn around soon.
