Tuition fund for Madelyn: a master's in public health at Los Angeles University
A first-generation student, Madelyn needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a master's in public health.

Madelyn is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a master's in public health at Los Angeles University, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a shop assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $2,400.
The registrar has said Madelyn can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Madelyn has a top-ten-percent average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Madelyn would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Madelyn isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Los Angeles University bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $2,400 goes:
• Final term tuition: $1,350
• Exam and lab fees: $80
• Outstanding tuition balance: $970
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
