Tuition fund for Kylie: an accounting degree at Toronto University
A first-generation student, Kylie needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of an accounting degree.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying an accounting degree at Toronto University, and I'm one term away from graduating. I have worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $3,700.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a 3.9 average, and my professor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $3,700 goes:
• Exam and lab fees: $190
• Final term tuition: $1,350
• Outstanding tuition balance: $2,160
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Take care, Kylie. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Don't give up
Good luck with the exams, you've got this. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. All the best
