Tuition fund for Kerem: a degree in civil engineering at Çankaya Community College
Kerem has worked and saved for four years to study a degree in civil engineering; a $1,250 gap now stands between him and graduation.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a degree in civil engineering at Çankaya Community College, and I'm one term away from graduating. I have worked as a shop assistant to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $1,250.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a distinction average, and my department head has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $1,250 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $810
• Final term tuition: $340
• Exam and lab fees: $40
• Textbooks and materials: $60
I hope life is good to you.

Best of luck, Kerem. This could happen to any of us. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Thinking of Çankaya.
Thanks for sharing this. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We're a small family in Surabaya but we're thinking of you. Blessings.
