Graciela is one semester away from finishing a nursing degree but is blocked from enrolling by an unpaid balance of $1,500.

Graciela is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a nursing degree at the Coatzacoalcos Institute of Technology, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a warehouse packer to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,500.
The registrar has said Graciela can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Graciela has a top-ten-percent average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Graciela would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Graciela isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $1,500 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $940
• Final term tuition: $370
• Exam and lab fees: $95
• Textbooks and materials: $95
Thank you so much.

Good luck, Dolores. This could happen to any of us
As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. We're a small family in Taguig but we're thinking of you.

So sorry you're going through this, Dolores. Shared this with my family. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Love from Thessaloniki.
