Garba is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying an agriculture degree at Lagos University, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a delivery rider to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $150. The registrar has said Garba can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Garba has a 3.6 average, and a professor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Garba would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Garba isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees. Where the $150 goes: • Textbooks and materials: $35 • Exam and lab fees: $20 • Outstanding tuition balance: $95 If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people. - Joy

  2. Thank you all. We're at 9% now ($14). I'm honestly stunned. I made the first payment toward outstanding tuition balance.
