Rides to dialysis three times a week for Maximilian in Kassel
Maximilian needs dialysis three times a week and has lost the ability to drive; volunteer drivers can each take one day.

Maximilian has been on dialysis for 3 years and until recently drove to Kassel General Hospital alone. After a foot amputation, Maximilian can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 10 km each way.
Maximilian is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
I hope life is good to you.

Best of luck, Florian. Hope the doctors have good news. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Blessings.
Hope it all works out, Florian. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My brother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Love from Angeles.
good luck, Florian. I hope things turn around soon. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Thinking of Kassel.
So sorry you're going through this, Florian. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side.
hope you get there. I went through something like this 4 years ago and strangers helped me out.
