Tomer needs a prosthetic leg that the health system will not fund; the cost is $5,350.

Tomer lives with profound hearing loss. The occupational therapist at the Jerusalem Mobility Clinic has assessed him and recommended a prosthetic leg. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $5,350.
His current equipment is 9 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 7 weeks.
With the right equipment Tomer could join the school sports day. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.

• First-year servicing plan: $350
• Fitting and training sessions: $260
