Toàn lives with profound hearing loss. The occupational therapist at the Hồ Chí Minh City Mobility Clinic has assessed him and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,350.
His current equipment is 9 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 8 weeks.
With the right equipment Toàn could attend work interviews. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
